Head Lice Detection

Head lice are very small, particularly when first born (nymph) and they can walk at a reasonable speed (see the videos in the other parts of the site to see this) which means that detecting them in dry hair is pretty tough. The good news is that if you thoroughly wet lice (and an easy way to do this is with conditioner), they slow down or stop moving altogether which means they are much easier to find.

We at blitzlice have prepared a simple detection procedure which you can use at any time. You can download this procedure by clicking on the button below.

We have created a blog for people to relay their experiences on head lice and for us to post updates on treatment issues at http://blitzlice.blogspot.com
